Digital Wallet Terms and Conditions


Thank you for using your Ster Savings Bank Card and choosing to use it in a Digital Wallet (“Digital Wallet”). A Digital Wallet includes Apple Pay™, Samsung Pay, Android Pay, Google Wallet or any other service which allows the use of your SterSavings Debit or Credit Card (“Card”) in an electronic format without presenting the Card, itself. These terms (“Terms”) are in addition to, and supplement any existing agreement relating to your Card.

In these Terms “you” and “your” refer to the SterSavings cardholder and “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the issuer, Ster Savings Bank. “Device” means any device you select to add your Card to, including mobile phones, tablets, computers, or any other devices that would allow you to digitize your Card for processing payments.

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Ster Savings Bank. Please read these Terms carefully before setting up or using your Card in a Digital Wallet, because use of your Card through a Digital Wallet is your acceptance and agreement to these Terms.

If you do not want to agree to these Terms, you must not set up or use your Card in a Digital Wallet.

Digital Wallet Responsibility

Ster Savings Bank is not responsible for your Digital Wallet. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Digital Wallet login information, including your user name and/or passwords associated with the Device or Digital Wallet. If you share these credentials with any other person, they may be able to use your Card. We are not responsible for the proper operation of the Digital Wallet or your ability, or inability, to use the Digital Wallet or Device for any transaction. You can set up Cards to certain Digital Wallets, but you may not be able to be set up a Card on all Digital Wallets or Devices. If your Card or underlying account is not in good standing, or is no longer in good standing, that Card may not be eligible to enroll or use in your Digital Wallet.

Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions expressed in your applicable Card agreement do not change. The agreement provided to you at Card opening and the terms, conditions, and fees expressed in that document remain in effect when you add your Card to a Digital Wallet. Any interest, fees and charges that apply to your Card will apply when your Card is used to make payments or purchases through a Digital Wallet.

Fees

Ster Savings Bank does not charge you a fee to set up or use your Card in a Digital Wallet or Device. However the Digital Wallet provider, Device provider, wireless company or other third parties may charge you fees. You are solely responsible for all such fees and agreements set forth by any other third party providers.

Privacy

In order to set up your Card in a Digital Wallet we may share the information needed to do so with the provider of the Digital Wallet, payment network or others to fulfill your request. View the Ster Savings Bank Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy and security of your information within the Digital Wallet or Device.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Federal Law and the Laws of the State of Ohio.

Electronic Notices and Changes to these Terms

You consent to receive electronic communications and disclosures from us in connection with your Card, your Digital Wallet and/or your Device. We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated document on our website, or through other electronic notice.

Cancelling

If at any time you decide you do not want your Card set up in a Digital Wallet or you would like to terminate these terms, you should follow the process within the Digital Wallet and/or Device to remove your Card. We may at any time and for any reason, block, suspend, terminate, or discontinue support and/or use of a Card, or all Cards, in a Digital Wallet, except as otherwise required by applicable law.
